Every once in a while, something good does show up on this list.

I’ve tested these Fatboy bean bags. They’re quite good, which surprised me because they’re so good-looking (normally you have to sacrifice one for the other). They really do work for sitting upright, which is not the case with most bean bags I’ve owned or used. The cover is nylon, so they’re easy to clean. Wipe. The main disadvantage is there isn’t another cover inside, so you have to pour out the filling and refill the bag again if you want to throw these in the washer. That is too bad. The company has a great reputation and boasts quality, which I agree with for most part, but then they skip on the interior liner to make washing easy… A small detail that could have ranked this product ‘great’ instead of simply ‘good.’

I overcame that disappointment very quickly when I saw them on Overstock.com for only $84. This is a huge steal. One of my clients just bought a few of these for almost $200 each, and they thought that was a deal.

  
I love my Giessweins, and they’re nowhere as cute as these. Even my dogs can’t destroy them. $39 is a great price. Only sizes 8 and 9 though.

Lately I’ve come to love these half-breed T-shirt Blouses. They’re made of jersey cotton, and they are super comfortable, like regular t-shirts. The difference is they are styled to drape nicely, with details usually around the neckline. Many designs use gathers to create flow. This shirt is a perfect example, and I’m quite surprised it’s on sale, considering the style is popular for Spring, and the color is Spring appropriate as well. 

Net-A-Porter’s sale is worth a visit. It’s still going, and there are some great designer deals here. The only issue is size availability, but if you are patient, you may find some gems. I particularly like the Chloe items on sale. If you do buy, use code freeship18vc to get free shipping. If it doesn’t work, sign up for their email program. They’ll send you a code.  I am the Imelda Marcos of rubber shoes. I can’t control myself. I am obsessed with them. The first time you hose off the yuck from your boots after a long day in the garden (think dogs), you experience this pleasure probably best compared to the first shower after a 3-day camping trip….  I was so, so, so close to clicking that final check out button, then I remember google.

Less than a minute later, I found these at Target.com. I have never shopped Target.com before. Can I tell you how totally stoked I was when 12 different styles of rubber boots showed up? And for $13.99-$19.99? Woo Hoo. Check out the Camou ones. I ordered those. And the black. And another. Yes, that makes three. (In addition to the three I already own.
