fentix cube

Trend: Light Everything, especially if it’s LED. Touchscreen cube with lights that glow even during day light. Invented by Andrew Fentem.
mood cush
I don’t think one can actually ‘read’ using this pillow (gives me reader’s headache just looking at the bad example shown in above image), but it does combine mood lighting and cush into one product. Pillows are filled with silicon bean bags containing LED lights and can be powered by four AA batteries or an adapter. Glow lasts 4 hours, plus 2 hours of fading light. I think it’s quite cool, and the silicon LED treatment is quite clever. Additional shapes would be nice. I’m sure I’ll end up with a few in my house eventually (note it’s on my wish list), so I’ll report back when I get my hands on some.

interactive objects... Jewelry

Kyeok Kim’s collection of interactive objects as body ornamentation is quite ingenious. Each jewelry piece projects beauty in grander view.
