inglas laminated glass

The one item that is stalling my kitchen remodel is the counter top. With delicate and expensive custom cabinets already in place, it was extremely important for me to find the ‘right’ match. The latest decision was to go with micro tiles (a pain, by the way).
However, if I had found this Inglas glass sooner, and if they were readily available in the U.S., I would have pursued this option instead. German company Inglas makes the most gorgeous laminated glass, which engineered to mix with non-glass objects and materials for creating decorative surfaces, such as furniture, counter tops, walls, railings, windows, fountains, signage, and more.
In order to save myself from another six-month delay, I did not research further how to buy this. If I pursue, for sure my project manager (aka boyfriend) will have a heart attack. We’re not talking because of the bankrupt-me-budget either. Let’s put it this way, it took him 2 months just to get me to agree to a tile color.
